CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-133
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING A VENDOR PERMIT FOR
THE SEWARD POLAR BEAR JUMPOFF FESTIVAL, INC.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 92-12 provides that solicitation of funds or sales on city
property is prohibited unless specifically authorized by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Polar Bear JumpoffFestival, Inc., has requested authorization to
utilize city property during January 19-21, 1996, to allow non-profit organizations to conduct special
events during the Eleventh Annual Polar Bear JumpoffFestival;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Seward Polar Bear JumpoffFestival, Inc. is hereby authorized to utilize city
property to allow non-profit organizations to conduct special events for the period January 19-21,
1996.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 27th
day of November, 1995.
