CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO.83-l
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO APPLY AND SIGN FOR A CREDIT CARD
WHEREAS, the Mayor, Members of the Council, the City Manager and
City Clerk are required to travel on city business; and
WHEREAS, such travel is on short notice preventing travel advances;
and
WHEREAS, the use of credit cards simplifies record keeping for travel
expenditures and saves reimbursement process expenses; and
WHEREAS, use of credit card would prevent travelers from using their
own resources until reimbursement is forthcoming;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC,L OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that the City Manager shall be authorized to apply and sign
for an American Express credit card for th2 City of Seward; the Mayor, Members
of Council, the City Manager, and the City Clerk shall be the only autho-
rized signatories.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 10 day of January ,1983.
