RESOLUTION NO. 63-2

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE GENERAL FUND SURPLUS
TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ROADS AND STREETS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A ROAD GRADER
WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of April 12, 1982, the City
Manager requested permission to purchase a Champion Model 740, road
grader without utilizing the competitive bidding procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council adopted Resolution No. 82-22 on
April 26, 1982, appropriating $130,332 for the purchase of the
Champion Model 740, road grader; and
WHEREAS, the $130,332 appropriation did lapse to the General
Fund Surplus on June 30, 1982; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council desires to reappropriate these
funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $82,314.11, representing the invoice cost of
the Champion Model D-740 road grader, is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund Surplus account number 101-000-271-00-00 to the Roads and
Streets account number 101-131-532-10-93.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
