RESOLUTION NO. 95-136
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A CREDIT TO
RESIDENTIAL ACCOUNTS OF THE SEWARD ELECTRIC
UTILITY AS A RESULT OF THE CEA 1994 CAPITAL CREDIT
REBATE TO THE UTILITY
WHEREAS, the City has received notification from Chugach Electric Association that the
Seward Electric Utility will receive a $193,262 capital credit rebate for Calendar Year 1994; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to return this rebate to the utility's residential
customers in the form of a credit on each customer's December utility billing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a $131.00 credit to each Seward
Electric Utility residential account's December 1995 billing.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 27th
day of November, 1995.
