RESOLUTION NO. 83-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA. SETTING FEES FOR THE SOLICITATION OF SALES OR FUNDS ON CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council has enacted Ordinance No. 515, regu-
lating peddlers, solicitors, etc.; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 515 allows the solicitation of sales or funds
on City property only upon application for and issuance of a permit issued by
the Chief of Police; and
WHEREAS, Section 16-1(d) of Ordinance No. 515 strltes that a fee sched-
ule for said permits shall be set by resolution of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The fee for a permit for solicitation of sales or funds
in or upon City property, payable upon issuance of said permit, shall be as
set forth in the following schedule:

Section 2. If a fee has been paid and a permit issued for a term
of less than 91 days, and the permittee subsequently desires to extend the
term of his permit, such permit may be extended upon payment of the additional
fee for the longer term, plus three dollars ($3.00).
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect ten days following its
adoption.
