RESOLUTION NO. 84-129
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POWER
CABLE WITHOUT FULL UTILIZATION OF THE BID PROCEDURES
SET FORTH IN THE CITY CODE
WHEREAS, shipment of the first 2500 kW diesel generator is due
in late November; and
WHEREAS, the City must purchase power cable to intertie the
generators to the substation; and
WHEREAS, only one supplier was able to supply the cable in the
time necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

purchase order in the amount of $20,370 to Anixter Communications for
the purchase of power cables.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
