CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 84-132
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING A CONSTRUCTION AND MOORAGE AGREEMENT
WITH KENAI FJORDS TOURS, INC.
WHEREAS, Kenai Fjords Tours, Inc., has offered to advance slip
moorage to the City for construction of a 51-foot extension to "G" dock
to accommodate its 65-foot tour vessel; and
WHEREAS, in exchange for this advance, Kenai Fj ords Tours,
Inc., would receive preferential use of the dock and would receive a
credit to its moorage account equal to the cost of construction; and
WHEREAS, such an arrangement would benefit the City in that an
expanded facility would be provided without committing harbor funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
construction and moorage agreement with Kenai Fjords Tours, Incorporat-
ed, for extension of "G" float as outlined in the memorandum from the
Harbor Department.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
