CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 83-24
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING
THE FY 1982-83 BUDGET BY INCREASING THE REVENUES RECEIVED UNDER THE JAIL
CONTRACT AND APPROPRIATING $2,301.42 TO POLICE ADMINISTRATION FOR TRAVEL
AND SUBSISTENCE.
WHEREAS, the City Council appropriated certain monies in the Fiscal
Year 1982-83 budget for the operation of the City of Seward; and
WHEREAS, the City is projected to receive approximately $7,000 in
additional Jail Contract revenues during Fiscal Year 1982-83; and
WHEREAS, the City has received $2,301.42 in additional Public Safety
grant revenue during Fiscal Year 1982-83; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to increase Jail Contract revenue
by $7,000 and appropriate the increased revenue for jail food supplies;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to increase Public Safety grant
revenue by $2,301.42 and appropriate the increased revenue for Police
Administration Travel and Subsistence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, THAT:
Section 1. The sum of $7,000 is appropriated from Jail Contract
Revenues to the Jail Contract Budget as follows:

Section 2. The sum of $2,301.42 is appropriated from Public Safety
