RESOLUTION NO. 85-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, IN SUPPORT OF THE HARBOR AIR SERVICE
APPLICATION TO PROVIDE ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE TO SEWARD
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has received notice that both
Alaska Aeronautical Industries and Harbor Air Service have filed appli-
cations to provide essential air service to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City administration and the City Council have
reviewed the two proposals; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Pfleger, the owners and operators of
Harbor Air Service, have provided quality air service to the City of
Seward since 1978; and
WHEREAS, the proposal of Harbor Air Service to originate the
service from Seward should improve dependability of air service to the
City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Council enthusiastically supports the applica-
tion of Harbor Air Service to provide essential air service to the City
of Seward.
Section 2. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to William
C. Boyd, Chief, Essential Air Service Division I.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.

ALASKA, this 14th day of January , 19 85
