RESOLUTION NO. 85-7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, SETTING THE FEE FOR
SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATIONS AND
RESCINDING ALL PRIOR RESOLUTIONS
CONFLICT HEREWITH
WHEREAS, Section 21.78.590 of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Code
of Ordinances specifies that a fee schedule will be established to cover
a significant portion of the administrative costs associated with
processing conditional use permits and variance requests; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 21.78.610 of the Kenai Peninsula
Borough Code of Ordinances the City Council may establish the fee
schedule by resolution for special permit applications; and
WHEREAS, the $75 special permit application fee established in
1977 does not cover a significant portion of the administrative costs to
process said applications;
WHEREAS, the Kenai Peninsula Borough sets a fee of $200 for
processing rezone applications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Resolution No. 77-20 setting the fee for special
permit applications is hereby rescinded.
Section 2. A fee in the amount of $200 shall accompany each
application for a variance or a conditional use permit until such time
as this resolution may be amended or repealed.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
