RESOLUTION NO. 85-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO SHIPLIFT II
SPECIAL PROJECT ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the installation of the shiplift at the Marine
Industrial Center is now complete; and
WHEREAS, final invoices from contractors and City work crews
are being received in the Engineering Department; and
WHEREAS, insufficient funds remain in the Shiplift account to
cover all invoices;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
$141,000 from Special Project Account No. 258000 (MIC Claim contingency)
to Special Project Account No. 228000 (Shiplift II).
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
