CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 85-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING STATE GRANT FUNDS FOR THE
PURPOSES OF PURCHASING A MARINE EMERGENCY VESSEL
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 84-23 accepted State Grant No. 5-437
for the purpose of securing a marine emergency vessel; and
WHEREAS, these funds have not previously been appropriated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to establish
Project Fund No. 289 to control authorized expenditures for a marine
emergency vessel.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
the $75,000 State Grant No. 5-437 funds to Project Fund No. 289.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
