RESOLUTION NO. 84-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO THE RAILROAD
CORRIDOR STUDY CAPITAL PROJECT FUND AND APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL
WORK CHANGE ORDER NO.2 TO INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC.
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with International Engineer-
ing Company, Inc. (IECO) to perform the Seward Marine Industrial Center
railroad corridor study utilizing an $85,000 grant from the State of
Alaska; and
WHEREAS, IECO has been requested to perform supplemental work
consisting of a South Nash Road route and prison site loop; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are required for the performance of
additional work; and
WHEREAS, unobligated funds are available in the Mayor and
Council contingency account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $5,000 is appropriated from the Mayor
and Council Contingency Account No. 101-111-511-10-69 to the Railroad
Corridor Study Capital Account No. 261-000-368-04-00.
Section 2. Supplemental Work Change Order No. 2 to the
International Engineering Company, Inc., for the South Nash Road route
alternative and prison site loop is approved for an amount not to exceed
$7,000.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
