RESOLUTION NO. 85-45
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION
AS A MERCHANT IN THE MASTER CHARGE CREDIT CARD PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the acceptance of credit
card payment for all boat harbor services, with the exception of utility
services, would be in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager, or his designee, is hereby
authorized, on behalf of the City of Seward, Alaska, to enter into any
agreements with the First National Bank of Anchorage and to take any
action related thereto, as he may deem appropriate, in connection with
participation by the City, as a merchant, in any credit card program of
said bank.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
