RESOLUTION NO. 84-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO CLOSE OUT THE
MARATHON WATER SUPPLY/HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Marathon Water Supply/Hydroelectric Project was
completed in June 1983; and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost for the project was
$1,409,819; and
WHEREAS, the total actual
$1,642,621.86, resulting in a $232,803.29
cost for the
overrun; and
was
proj ect
WHEREAS, the overrun was attributable to indirect proj ect
overhead, other contracted services and engineering;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1.
the General Fund-Fund
Department Enterprise
The sum of $232,803.29 is hereby appropriated from
Balance Account No. 101-000-271-00-00 to the Water
Fund Account No. 701-00-367-31-00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
