HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes1984-039 . . . , ~ CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA RESOLUTION NO. 84-39 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING CITY OF SEWARD RESOLUTION NO. 83-23 IDENTIFYING THE CAPITAL PROJECTS AND AMOUNTS ALLOCATED TO EACH PROJECT IN ACCORDANCE WITH AS 37.05.315 WHEREAS, AS 37.05.135 requires projects and the amounts of money allocated the total entitlement for the City; and a resolution identifying to each project, as well as WHEREAS, the City is entitled to receive $257.50 for each of the 1,843 people residing within its boundaries, plus an additional $3,92, for a total of $474,576.42; and WHEREAS, on May 23, 1983, the Seward City Council approved Resolution No. 83-23 appropriating funds to various local projects; and WHEREAS, the Seward City Council wishes to amend those appro- priations as cited in Resolution No. 83-23 by reducing the appropriation for the Lowell Canyon sewer line by $9,817.03; reducing the appropria- tion for the Lowell Creek bridge by $16,923.33; and adding $26,740.36 to Lowell Creek engineering; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: Section 1. The $474,576.42 received under the State Assis- tance for Municipalities Program for the year 1982-83 is proposed to be expended as follows: Lowell Creek Diversion Tunnel Engineering Dairy Hill Sewer Engineering Lowell Canyon Sewer Line Lowell Creek Diversion Tunnel Bridge Replacement $253,340.36 166,344.20 51,368.77 3,523.09 TOTAL $474,576.42 Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
