RESOLUTION NO. 85-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATION TO ENTER
INTO A TORA FOR PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTING THE
SPRING CREEK CORRECTIONAL CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Seward desires to plan and construct the
Spring Creek Correctional Center under the provisions of AS 35.15.080;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to
the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities
(hereinafter referred to as the "Department") on behalf of the City of
Seward for the funds appropriated by the Alaska Legislature for the
purpose of planning and constructing the Spring Creek Correctional
Center.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized to act on behalf of
the City of Seward to enter into an agreement with the Department to
transfer the responsibility for the accomplishment of the project from
the Department to the City of Seward.
