RESOLUTION NO. 85-63
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 78-22
AND DESIGNATING AREAS AS CITY C~~PGROUNDS
WHEREAS, Section 14.81.1 of the Seward City Code of Ordinances
provides for the designation of camping areas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to add specific areas as
campgrounds to the list as set forth in Resolution No. 78-22;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Resolution No. 78-22 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The following areas are hereby designated as City
campgrounds (as shown on the attached drawings which are incorporated
and made a part of this resolution):
(a) Forest Acres Campground;
(b) the beach area bounded by the Small Boat Harbor south
breakwater, Fourth Avenue, Ballaine Boulevard, Railway
Avenue and the Ferry Terminal Building;
(c) Fourth of July Creek area; and
(d) a triagular area bounded by the Small Boat Harbor "fish
ditch", Third Avenue, Fourth Avenue and a designated
harbor parking area.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
