CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE CITY CLERK
DEPARTMENT ELECTIONS BUDGET
WHEREAS, the actual cost to conduct the 1995 Regular Municipal Election exceeded the
budget in the amount of$683.38; and
WHEREAS, most of the increased cost can be attributed to the cost of publishing two full
page ads noticing the election rather than the one-half page ads anticipated at budget time, extra
costs associated with production of the voter pamphlet, and increased ballot printing costs which
were outside the control of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of$683.38 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund Fund Balance
AccountNo. 101-3050-0000 to the City Clerk Department Elections Account No. 101-1130-5720.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 11 th
day of December, 1995.
