RESOLUTION NO. 84-68
.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, SETTING RATES AND CHARGES FOR WATER
SERVICE FOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING JULY 15, 1984
WHEREAS, Section 22.10.050 of the Seward City Code requires
that water rates and charges shall be fixed by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward established rates for water use by
adopting Resolution No. 83-67; and
WHEREAS, an October 1983, Cost of Service and Rate Study
recommends an $113% water rate increase over a three year period; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council implemented the first phase
of the recommended increase in 1983 and desires to amend the schedule of
rates effective July 15, 1984, to effect the second phase of the recom-
mended rate increase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A schedule of water rates and charges shall be
established by class as follows:
A. Residential or domestic service within the City
limits of Seward, Alaska:

D. Water supplied to ships moored at a dock temporarily
shall be furnished at a minimum rate of $200 per fillup
for any amount up to 100,000 gallons, and $1.50 per
thousand gallons for any amount over 100,000 gallons.
