RESOLUTION NO. 83-42
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZINC THE FILING OF A COMMUNITY DEVELOP}ffiNT BLOCK
GRANT APPLICATION
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is applying to the State of Alaska
for a Community Development Block Grant; and
WHEREAS, ,it is necessary that certain requirements be met as
part of the application process; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has conducted a public hearing as
part of the application process in order to receive and consider citizen
comments on community needs and proposed activities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward shall enter into and agree to the
assurance contained in the application incorporated herein as "Attachment
A";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Ronald A. Garzini, City Manager for the City of Seward,
Alaska, is authorized to submit an application for a Community Development
Block Grant to the State of Alaska on behalf of the City of Seward,
adoption,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 25 day of July , 1983.
