RESOLUTION NO. 83-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING THE RECEIPT OF A MUNICIPAL ASSISTANCE
GRANT FROM THE STATE FOR THE SEWARD ELECTRICAL INTERTIE
WHEREAS, Chapter 107 SLA 1983 appropriated a $900,000 grant
for the purpose of the Seward Electrical Intertie; and
WHEREAS, AS 37.05.315 requires that the City accept this grant
by Ordinance or Resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The grant of $900,000 for the Seward E1ectriaa1
Intertie is accepted.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 22 day of August , 1983.
