RESOLUTION NO. 83-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF A DUMP TRUCK AND A BASE RADIO FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION
WHEREAS, the City Council on July 25, 1983, authorized the
solicitation of bids for the purchase of a dump truck for the Public
Works Department; and
WHEREAS, bids have been received from area equipment vendors
for the dump truck; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Division has the need for a base
station radio to replace an old, battery operated mobile unit being used
as a base radio at the City Shop;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer
$42,000 from the General Fund Account No. 101-000-271-00-00 to the
Public Works Division Account No. 101-131-532-10-93 for che purchase of
a dump truck and base station radio for the City Shop.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 12th day of September , 1983.
