RESOLUTION NO. 83-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, THANKING KENAI PENINSULA BOROUGH
ASSEMBLY PRESIDENT DON MCCLOUD, RETIRED, FOR HIS YEARS
OF SERVICE TO THE CITIZENS OF SEWARD
WHEREAS, Donald L. McCloud has served the citizens of the City
of Seward in his capacity as a member of the Kenai Peninsula Borough
Assembly for the past thirteen years; and
WHEREAS, Donald L. McCloud distinguished himself as President
of the Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly during the 1982-83 Assembly
session; and
WHEREAS, Donald L. McCloud has been instrumental in furthering
the interests of the citizens of Seward through his efforts to secure
funding for many area projects including the Seward High School; and
WHEREAS, Donald L. McCloud has further demonstrated his public
spirit through his involvement in numerous local volunteer organiza-
tions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Seward City Council, on behalf of the citizens
of Seward, hereby publicly extends its appreciation and thanks to Donald
L. McCloud upon his retirement from the Kenai Peninsula Borough As-
sembly.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 26th day of September , 1983.
