RESOLUTION NO. 83-90
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL
FUND-FUND BALANCE TO THE SEWARD FIRE DEPARTMENT CAPITAL
EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City of Seward is in need of an upgrade for
supplying standby electrical power to the fire station and the City Hall
building; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward received from the Kenai Peninsula
Borough a Kato generator (150 kw) and an automatic transfer switch as
part of the Civil Defense Program; and
WHEREAS, in order to install this upgraded standby system,
additional equipment, materials and labor are required for completion;
and
WHEREAS, in order to complete the project, an estimated Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($20,000) will be needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) is
hereby appropriated from the General Fund-Fund Balance Account No.
101-000-271-00-00 to the Seward Fire Department Capital Equipment
Account No. 101-122-527-10-93.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, this 28th day of November , 1983.
