RESOLUTION 2005-43

A RESOL UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, CONSENTING TO THE ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE FROM
RANDY BECKER TO TOM TOUGAS, OF LOT 8, BLOCK 6, SMALL
BOAT HARBOR SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the City of Seward entered into a Lease Agreement with Randy Becker
effective September 24, 1997 for lease of Lot 8, Block 6, Seward Small Boat Harbor Subdivision
containing 1200 sq. ft more or less and as further described in the Lease, as amended from time to
time; and
WHEREAS, Randy Becker desires to assign his interest in the Lease to Tom Tougas; and
WHEREAS, Randy Becker is not in default in rental payment or other provisions under the
Lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City of Seward authorizes the City manager to execute consent to an
assignment of the Lease from Randy Becker to Tom Tougas in substantially the form as attached
_ hereto.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect 30 days from the date hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe City of Seward, Alaska, this 13th
day ofJune, 2005.
