RESOLUTION 2005-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, ADOPTING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN BUDGET
FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2006 AND TWO SUBSEQUENT CALENDAR
YEARS
WHEREAS, on October 10, 2005, the City Manager submitted to the City Council a
proposed budget for the City of Seward for Calendar Year 2006; and
WHEREAS, the budget was introduced to the public at the regularly scheduled Council
meeting of October 10, 2005, and work sessions conducted on October 11, 12, 13, 14, and 17,
2005 were televised; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing is being held on the proposed budget on November 14,
2005, with final adoption scheduled for November 28,2005; and
WHEREAS, there are no monies designated in the Calendar Year 2006 General Fund
Budget to finance capital improvements; and

WHEREAS, the Capital Acquisition Fund will not receive funding in the amount of
$76,840 from the Sewer Enterprise Fund in 2006 as partial repayment of a 1990 loan from the
General Fund, due to insufficient revenues in the Sewer Enterprise Fund's 2006 Budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Capital Improvement Plan Budget for Calendar Year 2006, and the two
subsequent fiscal years, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, is
HEREBY ADOPTED.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect January 1, 2006.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this
28th day of November, 2005.
