Frutk and Carol Griswold have agreed to sell the real property dcscrihed above to the City oC
ticward. The City intends to coi>struct a long term care facility o^ the site, to be managed by a
gilslified opirator (currently !'ruvidence) as a cn-located lacilit}~ with the hospital. The lard is
currently being platted W allow the sale, and a inning change was require) to allow use ol'thc land
for a long term care facility.
I~he new coning desig}iation is Industrial, and the sellers raised concerns shout future use of the
property' and possible effects on adjoining lands. A public workshop was held to dix:uss concerns
:~,d possible cuiung and platting opportunities. As a result of (his meting and subseyuen[
discussions betwcen the City Manaser and the Uriswnlds, an agreement was reached to a_sk council
