RESOLUTION 2003-152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO CRW'S CONTRACT TO
PROVIDE ENGINEERINGIDESIGN SERVICES, AND
APPROPRIATING AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000 FROM
THE GATEWAY TO FOREST ACRES GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has received a $396,600 Grant #76911 from ADEC for
construction ofthe Gateway to Forest Acres water line; and
WHEREAS, the City would like to amend this contract with CRW to provide
engineering, and design services; and
WHEREAS, monies would be appropriated in the amount not to exceed $30,000 from
the Gateway to Forest Acres grant account; and
WHEREAS, monies would be transferred from the Gateway to Forest Acres grant
account no. 704-7042-4680-0100 to the contracted services account no. 704-7042-5390.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA that:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to approve the amendment to
the CRW contract to provide engineering, and design services.
Section 2. Monies would be appropriated in the amount not to exceed $30,000 from the
Gateway to Forest Acres grant account no. 704-7042-4680-0100 to the contracted services
account no. 704-7042-5390.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 8th day of
December, 2003.
