PowerPoint: History and current status of the SCHC Cruse/Ambrosiani 10 min B. Driving Decision Point — HRSA grant renewal due August 15 (SAC) Ambrosiani 5 min C. We would like to obtain the opinion of the City Council on the following questions: 1. What would you like the healthcare system in Seward to look like in 10 years? 15 min 2. Should we pursue the renewal of the CHC HRSA grant as a co -applicant of the City or as a single entity? (White paper under development) i. Discussion Points 1. Speed bumps 15 min 2. Obstacles 3. Immoveable objects ii. After general support, can we obtain a letter of support from City Council? 3. Can SCHC become the financial conduit between the City and our local healthcare non- profits, for the remaining 1% sales tax revenue designated for community healthcare? i. Speed bumps 15 min ii. Obstacles iii. Immoveable objects 4. The SCHC is currently operating under a month -to -month lease of our clinic space 15 min within the City owned hospital. Can we extend this to a 5-year lease? 5. The SCHC is moving forward with a building plan. We would like to stay close to the hospital service areas and build closely or add on to the hospital. How best do we achieve this? 15 min i.
