Greetings, Mr Bridges
It's been a full day here at Seward Mountain Haven, as I'm sure it has been for you as well.Thank you for your diligent
work and clarity of purpose.
I am wondering if you can help me with obtaining information to help Council with upcoming decisions and direction. I
would like to get attendance numbers for the Parks and Recreation Youth Programs. This is something that Council as a
body had requested a number of times from our previous City Manager,yet still has not received. I am hoping that you
might be able to address this, as you have so many other things.
I'd like daily attendance numbers for both the Teen Youth Center and Teen Rec Room. In the recent reports from Parks
and Rec, I have noticed that the numbers from special events have been merged with the regular attendance numbers.
For instance, the Cross Country team dinner was included as attendance at the Teen Rec Room, even though that event
was a rental, and not hosted by P&R. I'd like to know how many are attending on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. I do
know that the TRR has a sign in sheet at the door that each youth signs upon entering, therefore it should be a fairly
straightforward task to compile a basic spreadsheet of attendance.
