RESOLUTION NO, 80--51
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A TRANSFER AGREEMENT
FOR THE SEWARD POHT FAC1LITY FROH
THE STATE OF ALASKA DEPAWfMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Alaska Legislature has appropriated
$l,OOO,Oon to the State of Alaska Department of TransDortation
and Public Facilities to be used in the development of a port
facility within the Seward ?~arine Industrial Park at Fourth of
July Creek; and
WHEREAS, the Denartment of Transportation and c>ublic
Facilities desires to transfer these funds to the City of
Seward; and
1IJHEREAS, the SevJard City Council feels it is in the
public interest to accept the transfer of these funds from the
Department of Transportation and Public Facilities,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT nESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Seward, Alaska that:
Section 1, The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary documents to accept this
transfer in accordance with the requirements of Alaska Rtatutes
and regulations promulagted thereunder,
Section 2, This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage and adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City
of Seward, Alaska, this 24th day of November, 1980.
