RESOLUTION NO, 80-53
A RESOLUTION ACCEP"'PTG A TRANSFER AGREEMENT
FOR THE SEWA~D PORT FACILITY FROM
T~'IE STATE OF A.LA8KA DEPARTME~rr OF
TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC FACILITIES
AND REPEALING CITY 0~ SEWARD TIESOLUTION NO,80-51
WHEREAS, the Alaska legislature has appropriated
$1,500,nnn to the State of Alaska Department of Transportation
and Public Facilities to he used in the development of a port
facility within the Seward Marine Industrial Park at Fourth of
Julv Creek; and
WHEREAS, the Depart~nnt of Transportation and Public
Facilities desires to transfer these funds to the City of
Seward, less 2% for State administration costs; and
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council feels it is in the
public interest to accept the transfer of these funds from the
Department of Transportation and Public Facilitiep"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Seward, Alaska that:
Section 1. City of Seward Resolution No, R0-51
is repealed,
Section 2, The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary documents to acce~t this
transfer in accordance with the requirements of Alasva Statutes
and regulations promulagted thereunder.
Section 3, This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage and adoption.
