CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 81-18
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER
OF $31,000 FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA TO PERFORM
REPAIRS WITHIN THE SEWARD MUNICIPAL SMALL BOAT HARBOR
WHEREAS, Chapter 120 SLA 1980 allocated $365,000 for
improvements to the Seward Small Boat Harbor; and
WHEREAS, the State of Alaska, Department of Transporta-
tion and Public Facilities is allocating $31,000 of this appropria-
tion as a direct grant to the City of Seward to make repairs to the
grid, harbormaster's building and public restrooms and showers; and
WHEREAS, the City of Seward desires to complete these
repairs as soon as possible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Seward, Alaska that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the necessary documents to accept the transfer
of $31,000 from the appropriation made pursuant to Chapter 120
SLA 1980 in order to make the aforementioned repairs within the
Seward Small Boat Harbor,
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY the City Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska this 22nd day of June, 1981.
