During our meeting the following actions were taken.All 10 members were present and each change was discussed and a voice vote taken.All
action passed unanimously. Language in yellow was suggested to be substituted in the following Resolutions:
City of Seward Resolution 2019-111 the 2020 State Legislative Priorities
A.3 Legislative support for the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers to design and construct a Vie"flood damage control project to
protect airport runways and property from flooding.
B.10$8,100,000$8.1 million for the Alaska Department of Transportation to extend the proposed runway ton nnn feet repair and
restore the existing runway 13-31 in order to accommodate larger aircraft and provide effective disaster response
And
City of Seward 2019-115 the 2020 Federal Priorities
A.8 $9.5 million for the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers to design and construct a rip rap reek levee flood damage control project to protect
the airport runways and property from flooding
A.9$8.1 million for the Federal Aviation Administration(FAA)extend the proposed runway to 4,000 feet repair and restore the existing
runway 13-31 in order to accommodate larger aircraft and provide effective disaster response
