RESOLUTION NO. cfJ
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING WARRANTY DEEDS TO BE ISSUED FOR
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY or SEWARD, ALASKA.
WHEREAS, the city of Seward is the owner of Lots One (1), Two (2),
Three (3) and Four (1) in Block Five (5) of the Federal Addition to the City
of Se'Nard, by virtue of patent from the United States of America to the
City of Seward, No. 1151962, recorded at Book 2 of Patents, page 1 '1, in
the office of the Precinct Recorder, Seward Precinct, Territory of Alaska,
and
WHEREAS, in the judgment, of the City Council, said property is not
and shall not be required for municipal purposes, and
WHEREAS, Douglas and Minnie Keating desire to purchase said Lots
One (1) and Two (2) of Block Five (5) in the Federal Addition to the City of
Seward for good and valuable consideration, and
WHEREAS, W. L. and Nellie Brattain desire to pur chase said Lots
Three (3) and Four (4) of Block FiT'e (5) in the Federal Addition to the City
of Seward for j?'ood and valuable consideration. NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
That RUSSELL PAINTER, as Mayor, and ERMA WALKER, as City
Clerk, execute a Warranty Deed to Lots One and Two of Block Five of
Federal Addition to the City of Seward, to Doug-las and Minnie Keating,
for the consideration of One Dollar and other valuable consideration in
hand paid, to nave and to hold the title to said lots forever, and
That RUSSELL PAINTER, as Mayor, and ERMA WALKER, as City
Clerk, execute a Warranty D~'e-a to Lots Three and Four in Block Five of
the Federal Addition to the City of Seward to W. L. and Nellie Brattain,
for the consideration of One Dollar and other valuable consideration in
hand paid, to have and to hold the title to said Lots forever.
