A RESOLUTION DIRECTING TAX'DEED TO BE ISSUED FOR CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA.
WHEREAS, at public auction held on the 21st day of May, 1951,
Fran and Ewely DuBeau became the purchasers of Lot Thirty-one (31) in
Block Twenty- seven (27) in the original townsite of Seward, Alaska,
according to the official Plat thereof, having bid therefor the amount due on
said Lot, including the tax, penalty, interest and costs due and delinquent
thereon for the years 1946 and 1947, and
WHEREAS, the said Fran and E:rr;ely DuBeau were issued a tax
certificate, No. 2952, to said lot, according to the records of the City
Clerk of the City of Seward, Alaska, and
WHEREAS, the original certificate, No. 2952, has now been lost, and
WHEREAS, a period long in excess of two years has elapsed since the
date of said sale and no redemption has been made therefrom, and the said
Fran and Emely DuBeau are now entitled to a tax deed to said Lot, NOW,
TIlER EFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA:
That RUSSELL PAINTER, as Mayor, and ERMA WALKER, as City
Clerk, execute a Tax Deed to said Lot he reinbefore, in this resolution,
described, to have and to hold the title to said Lot unto the said Fran and
Emely DuBeau, forever.
