This was a letter from finance to Scott Meszaros on the cost (at the time) for the PIERS penalty.

In order to outsource HR, we would have to pay off the PIERS for the Personnel Position per the end of
the agreement with PIERS which is currently 2039. Termination study will run $4,000 - $7,000 before the
exact amount could be determined. Based off of my deductions as of 5/19/2020 it would be a minimum
of $282,688.00. This is best guess from the state and they would not have an exact amount until a
termination study was submitted.
