Dear Mayor Terry, valarie Kingsland, Council Members and fellow
HPC Commissioners,
I am writing to each of you this morning for my poor performance at last
night's annual meeting with you. My commission deserves much better
from me as do you. We are like you, hard working. Moreover, we want
to be taken seriously as an organized and dedicated commission for our
city and I failed a as Chair in those duties last night. In addition to what I
reported about our activities I failed to mention that we have an active
Facebook page to keep Seward and the wider public aware of
history happenings here in Seward!
Mayor Terry, thank you for your kind patience and questions about the
CLG. Thanks too for asking if our Administrator should give her
comments, I should have called on MS Kingsland first. You and the
Council have been very good to us and I am sorry for making you
work harder than necessary to get the information you needed and
wanted regarding our commission's work.
Thank you, for your remarks Council Member Casagranda on the
importance of historic preservation in Seward and for your support of it.
In addition, thank you Council for your time and the support of our
work.

PS: I am terrified to speak publicly so next time I will have it all written
out before me. I would like to achieve public speaking as well and as
comfortably as Mayor Terry!
