RESOl.UTION NO. 267
BE IT RESOLVED that the rate of levy on the 1961-62 personal and real prop-
ertv tllX rolls shall be Ilnd is hereby levied at the rate of twenty (20) mills per
dollar of assessed valuation, except that the rate of levy on boats and vessels
shall be and is hereby levied at the rate of Five ($5.00) Dollars each on a boat
or vessel of less than five (5) net registered or certificated tons and at the
rate of Fifteen ($15.00) Dollars each on a boat or vessel of more than five (5)
net registered or certificated tons. and
That in accordance with Section 7.110 of the Code of General Ordinances,
as amended by Ordinance No. 310, the total of said 1961-62 property tax on the
assessment. as certified by the City Assessor to the City Council at the
May 28, 1962 reconvening of the May 21. 1962 regular Council meeting. shall
become delinquent and subject to penalty and interest as set forth in Section
7.110 of the Code of Ordinances as amended by Ordinance No. 310. unless at
least one-half of the total amount due is paid on or before July IS, 1962, and
the second half paid on or before January IS, 1963, and
That due and delinquent dates for the Supplemental Tax Roll not yet com-
pleted and certified to the City Council will be established by a separate
resolution at a later date.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon passage
and approval.
