~n!RREAS it is re~uisite and necessary, in connection with the issuance
of the City of geward G~ner3l Obligation Water System Ponds, Series 1962,
for a totl1l of $226,000, that a bank in the State of Alnska and an nlternate
bnnl' be designated as paying "gents nnd depository banks for said bond funds,
and as trustees for principal and interest payments which the City will ~ke
upon said bonds from time to time, to receive said bonds and pay them for
the City, and in general tn act as ?aying agents and depository banks in
connection with said issue of bonds;
NOW, TFlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that SEWARD BRANCH, FIRST NATIONAL FANK
OF ANCHOR^GE, at Seward, Alaska, Which is a member of the Federal Deposit
Insurance Corporation, Rnd CHASE MANHATTAN BANK in the porough of rfanhattan,
NeT., Vork, New York, are hereby designated paying agents and depository banks
for said bond funds, trustees for principal and interest payments which the
City will make upon said bonds from time to time, to receive said bonds nnd
pay them for the City of Seward, and in general tn act as raying agents
and depository banks for the City of Seward in connection with said series
of bonds.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon
passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the COlllDon Council of the City of Seward,
Alaska, this 17th day of September, 1962.
