RESOLU'lIOR NO. 282
WHEREAS. the Sevard City Couoc11. sittina as a Board of MjustMnt
as provided by Sections 2.100 and 2.102 of the Seward Code of Ordinances.
conducted a public bearing in the _tter of Notice to Abate or Correct
Nuisance and Notice to Abate or Correct Fire and Health Hazard regarding
buildings and structures located on Lots 26. 27. and 28. in Block 2 of the
Original Townsite of Seward. Alaska. owned by Arthur Sandvig; and
WHEREAS. all of the requir..nts of Section. 2.100 of said Code had
been previously carried out; and
WHEREAS. no written objections to the findings of the City Manaser
in this lDlltter. a. posted on the properties and as served upon Arthur
Sandvig. were filed with the City Manager or otherwise made;
NOW. TRBREFORB. BE IT RESOLVED that the findings and orders of the
Board of Adjustment as adopted. by mtion on October 1. 1962. be confirmed;
and that (1) the above described properties be found to be nuisances and
fire and health hazards; (2) that Arthur Sandvig be ordered. to abate said
nuisences and hazards by removal or d8lllOlition within thirty (30) days from
the date bereof; (3) that Arthur Sandvig be notified of these findings.

and (4) that in the event Arthur Sandvig does not COlDply fully with the
orders of the Board of AdjustMnt as set forth herein. that the City
Manager is hareby instructed and ordered to take proper steps. under
Section 2.105 of the Seward Code of Ordin8Dces. to carry out the require..
ments of this Resolution and the Code of Ordinances. which also provides
that the cost of said abateMDt will be cbarpable against the property.
