WHEREAS, on November 5, 1962 the Seward School Board and
Superintendent reported to the City Council that receipts
from the State of Alaska and the United States of America,
and further revised estimated receipts from the State of
Alaska, for PL874 support and tuition are tentatively
$17,324.00 in excess of the receipts estimated in preparing
the approved 1962-63 School budget, and
WHEREAS, the Seward Schoel Board on November 5, 1962 request-
ed an appropriation of $10,000.00 from these funds to pay
for specific capital improvements requested on that date,
and
WHEREAS, all adjustments of the total municipal budget must
be approved by the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above requested
appropriation for capital improvements be and hereby is
authorized, and that the remaining $7,324.00 be and hereby
is transferred to the City's General Fund "Opening Cash"
budget item.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage and approval.
Passed and approved by The Common Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, this 19th day of November, 1962.
