RESOLUTION NO. 292
WHEREAS, July 16, 1958 is the date of delinquency for the 1957-58
property tax roll, and July 16, 1959 is the date of delinquency
for the 1958-59 property tax roll, and
WHEREAS, the delinquency dates for the 1954 special sewer assess-
ment roll are December 31 and June 30 alternating for the success-
ive semi-annual installments commencing with Installment No. One
(1) on December 31, 1954, and
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1962 the City Council directed that the
City Clerk make up a roll in duplicate of all real property
subject to foreclosure by reason of unpaid property taxes assessed
for the tax years 1957-58 and 1958-59, and including all real
property subject to foreclosure by reason of unpaid 1954 special
sewer assessment installments which were delinquent on or before
June 30, 1959, and which would be Installment No. One (1) to
and including Installment No. Ten (10), and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has prepared the above described fore-
closure roll, with a statement attached thereto certifying that
it is a true and correct roll of the delinquent property taxes
and special assessment taxes for the years shown thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above described fore-
closure list shall be known as the "Foreclosure List for the
City of Seward for the Year 1962", and that the City Clerk is
hereby instructed to cause to be published in the Petticoat
Gazette, Seward, Alaska, and in the Anchorage Daily News (1) notice
of said foreclosure list, (2) the foreclosure list, (3) the
closing of the period of redemption, as provided by Sections
7.111(a) and Section 7.112(c) of the Seward General Code and

to do all other things as required by Section 7.111 and 7.112
of the Seward General Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to delete from the 1962 foreclosure list as certified for sewer
assessment installments No. Two (2) - Ten (10) inclusive, Lots
34, 35, 36 and 37 of the Block 4 of the Laubner Addition, listed
under the name of Mrs. Minnie Coulter.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to delete from the 1962 Foreclosure List for property taxes the
South 1/2 of Lot 2, Block 3, Original Town and Lots 17 and 20 of
Block 9, Original Town, and that these parcels shall be foreclosed
if necessary under the terms of the AGREEMENT dated the 13th day
of November, 1961 between the City of Seward and Sam Romack,
which AGREEMENT with supporting deeds has been placed in escrow
with the Seward Branch, First National Bank of Anchorage, as
regards the 1962 Foreclosure List only. (AGREEMENT under Seward
Recorder's Office Serial No. 61-572.)
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately upon
passage and approval. Passed and approved by The Common Council
of the City of Seward this 17th day of December, 1962.
