RESOLUTION NO. 305
'dHEREA3 it is desirnble that recreation facilities be con-
structed at 3eward, Alaska, and
~1EREA3 the United States of America through the Public works
Acceleration Program may build such recreation facilities
within the corporate limits of the City of Seward,
NO/v THEREFOEE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Seward furnish
to the United 3tates of America necessary lands, easements and
rights-of-way, spoil disposal 8nd borrow areas both for new
wor~ and subsequent maintenance, either by way of fee title or
temporary or permanent easements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Seward agree to hold
and save the United States of America free from claims or dam-
ages due to construction and maintenance of this project.
This Resolution to be in fulJ force and effect il11f11ediately
upon passage and approval.
Passed and approved this 18th day of February, 1963, by the
Common Council of the City of Seward, Alaska.
