RESOLUTION NO. 312
BE IT RESOLVED that a contract with Bay City Motors for the
period from April 2, 1963 to April 2, 1965 inclusive for the
towing and storing of vehicles impounded by the City of Seward
is hereby authorized, said contract to contain all of the
provisions, or one of the alternate provisions where alternates
are provided for, of the form of contract authorized by the
City Council on November 19, 1962 to be advertised for bids,
and said contract to be at the rates set forth in the written
offer dated April 1, 1963 from Bay City Motors.
This negotiated contract is authorized following award to
the one and only bidder and following cancellation of same
by the City Council upon failure of the contractor to
protect the City of Seward with the insurance coverages
required by the contract.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage and approval. Passed and approved by the
Common Council of the City of Seward this 1st day of April,
1963.
