RESOLUTION NO. 358
BE IT RESOLVED by The Common Council of the City of
Seward, Alaska, that pursuant to an invitation to submit
bids for certain street improvements in the City of Seward.
Alaska, which invitations were properly published and
advertised and publicly opened as advertised, the Seward
City Council does hereby tentatively accept the low bid of
Rogers Construction Co. and Babler Bros., Box 3447 Star
Route B, Spenard, Alaska, in the amount of Two Hundred Four
Thousand Six Hundred Forty and No/lOa ($204,640.00) Dollars
to construct the entire street improvements as advertised
without any deductives pending approval of said award by
the Housing and Home Finance Agency, and subject to bidder
furnishing a satisfactory performance bond, and does hereby
instruct the City Manager and City Clerk to execute and
deliver said contract upon satisfaction of the forementioned
conditions.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect
immediately upon passage and approval. Passed and approved
by the Common Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this
13th
day of January, 1964.
