RESOLUTION NO. 397
WHEREAS the CITY OF SEWARD proposes to purchase from the
ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH, a religious corporation organized
under and operating pursuant to the laws of the State of
Missouri, certain property situate in the Seward Recording
Precinct, State of Ala~a, described as follows:
Lots 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 in Block 12 of the Laubner
Addition to the City of Seward, according to the
official map and plat thereof on file with the Dep?ty
Magistrate and ex-Officio Recorder at Seward, Alaska;
together with all buildings thereon; and
WHEREAS the proposed total purchase price for said property
is the sum of One Thousand and No/100 ($1,000.) Dollars; and
WHEREAS a public hearing upon such proposed purchase was held
on June 16, 1964, after notice having been posted, all in
accordance with Ordinance No. 315, and there were no valid
objections made at said public hearing to the purchase of said
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk-Treasurer
and the City Controller are hereby authorized and instructed
to consumate said purchase by receiving a Statutory Warranty
Deed for the said property and by payment of the total sum of
One Thousand TIollars upon receipt of said deed.
Publication of Resolution No. 397 shall be by posting a certi-
fied copy on the bulletin board at City Hall and on the bulletin
board at the U. S. Post Ot'fice in the City of Seward, Alaska,
with a notice of the places of posting and a brief statement of
the purpose of ~s Resdution to be published in one or more
newspapers of the City, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 315.
