~ESOLUTION NO._420
',mEREAS, the City of Seward at its regular meeting held on
June 17, 1963 accepted the proposal of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell
~ Co. of Anchorage, Alaska to serve as its independent auditors
and financial consultants for the fiscal years ending June 30,
1963, June 30, 1964 and June 30, 1965 in accordance with that
firm's June 14, 1963 proposal, and
\mEREAS, Section 12.3(d) iimits such contracts for professional
services without competitive bidding to terms of not more than
two years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the June 14, 1963 proposal
of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & ~o. of Anchorage, Alaska, to
perform the audit of the City of Seward for the year ending
June 30, 1965, be and is hereby accepted and the inadvertent
early action of the City Council on June 17, 1963 as regards
this one year only is hereby confirmed, approved, and made
effective as of this date.
This Resolution to be in full force and effect immediately
upon passage and approval. Passed and approved by the Common
Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this ~~ day of
