Resolution authorizin~ filing of application with the
Housing and Home Finance Agency, United States of America,
pursuant to Public Law 88-229, for compromise of or release
from debt incurred under the Alaska Public works Act.
:~EREA3, under the terms of said Public Law 88-229, the
compromise or release of claims or obli~ations incurred
under the Alaska Public Works Act is authorized where
determined to be justified by the special financial con-
ditions of the obligor or other unusual circumstances and,
~~ERSAS, there exist special financial conditions and other
unusual circumstances which the Common Coun.fil._2f the j;ity
of Seward Governing Body of Applicant believes justify re-
lief from claims or obligations incurred by the Applicant
under the Alaska Public Norks Act.
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved By (Governing BoQy_ of Applicant)
the Common Council of the City_of Seward.

authorized to execute and file an application on
